Guide to Setting Up Product Shipping Methods

To have your product approved on Scoopton Marketplace, you must offer at least one shipping method. This guide explains the available shipping options and how to configure shipping costs, dispatch times, and estimated delivery times.

How to Set Up Shipping for Your Products

  1. Navigate to the Product Page:
    Go to the product you want to edit.
  2. Open the Shipping Tab:
    Click on the Shipping tab to view the available shipping methods.
  3. Enable Shipping Methods:
    A list of shipping options will appear.
    • Click on the name of a shipping method to expand its settings.
    • To enable a shipping option, check the box next to its name.

Available Shipping Methods

You can choose from the following shipping services:

  • Free Collection
    • Offer this option to allow customers to collect the item in person, at no cost.
  • Express Delivery
    • Ideal for faster delivery at a higher cost. Use this if you want to provide a rapid delivery option.
  • Standard Shipping
    • This is a balanced choice between speed and cost. Select this if you want to offer typical delivery times.
  • Economy Shipping
    • A budget-friendly option with longer delivery times. Suitable for customers looking to save on shipping costs.

Note: You can offer multiple shipping methods per product.

Setting a Default Shipping Method

If you offer more than one shipping method, you must set one as the default.

  • The default method will be used automatically if the customer does not choose an alternative.
  • Order totals will be calculated based on the default shipping option.
